Simple to use thumb nailing. A store directory makes a
directory structure mirror (drive letters being in the store root) of anything
thumb nailed, that contains scaled down JPEGs of images in the source. Methods
are provided to map the source filename to web or file system thumbnail paths.
You can create thumbnails on the fly if required. Keeping thumbnails out the
way means you could put them on a separate fast drive. Thumb nails can be
considered throw away as they can easily be recreated, if a disk goes down for
example. Specify store directory and thumb dimensions in configuration.
Combine thumbnails with a database table and “File Store”,
you can create an image storage and display web application in no time.
